Campbell County Historical Society

Location

The headquarters for the Campbell County Historical Society at 235 East Central Ave. in LaFollette, TN. This location houses general operations for the Society, as well as the Museum and and Research Library.

Newsletter

The Campbell County Historical Society publishes a quarterly newsletter The Campbell Countian. The newsletter is included in the annual membership dues and back issues are available for $4.00 each (this includes postage).

Monthly Meetings

The Society meets the third Thursday of each month (except December) at the Society Headquarters. The April meeting is the annual meeting with installation of officers.

Historic Wedding Chapel

The Society also owns and maintains the Historic Wedding Chapel which is shown by appointment and can be reserved for weddings and other functions.

Delap Cemetery

The Society obtained the Delap Cemetery and had done restoration of the site and now maintains it.

Restoration of County Records

On ongoing project for the Society is the restoration of historical county records. Campbell County has commissioned the Society to complete this extensive task with the plan, at some point in the future, to make the records available to the public.
